Brighton Housing Trust | Hostel–based Clinical Nurse Pilot

The Hostel–based Clinical Nurse Pilot was a 15 week project, funded under the South East Alcohol Innovation Programme’s High Impact Change Grant scheme. The project’s aim was to provide in-house clinical support to hostel providers working with alcohol dependent clients.

Greater London Authority | Peer Outreach Team | Alcohol Awareness Project

The Greater London Authority Peer Outreach Team is a group of 40 young people aged 15-to-25-years-old who deliver work on behalf of the GLA for the benefit of young Londoners. The team was established in the winter of 2006 and the Alcohol Awareness Project commenced in 2009. They are currently working with Alcohol Concern's Youth Policy team to produce a series of vox pop interviews focused on young people and alcohol, particularly with regard to advertising, relationships, domestic violence and peer pressure. This work will be previewed at the upcoming Alcohol Concern conference, Generation alcohol: is drinking damaging childhood?
