Terms of Reference


  1. The judges’ decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into (Alcohol Concern and Department of Health are in no way obligated to speak to individuals or projects in relation to why their project/s may have been unsuccessful).  
  2. Judges will not be entitled to vote on their own submissions or on any activity in which they have any vested interest.
  3. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entry that they consider, in their sole discretion, to be in breach of any law, or of any other relevant codes of practice.
  4. The number of votes received for individual projects will not be published or nor made available to anyone other than the judges.
  5. The Department of Health and Alcohol Concern reserve the right, in extenuating circumstances, to cancel the awards programme at any time and shall not have any liability whatsoever to entrants in such circumstances or otherwise.
