Last Orders Phase 2 is the next stage of this specialist service, and is focussed on the delivery of Identification and Brief Advice (IBA) and extended IBA in primary care. It is funded by NHS Nottingham City.

The initiative will enable the remit of the DIP to be widened to include alcohol referrals.

In Coalville the Leicestershire Night Time Economy Bluetooth Pilot transmitted Bluetooth messages to young people in the town centre during weekend evenings in August 2008. The project piloted Bluetooth technology to warn revellers against drinking too much and causing trouble for other people enjoying a night out.

A similar project took place in Coalville, Leicestershire
